FindIT - Marketing Transformation Case Study

Introduction

As a  Marketing Manager at FindIT, growing IT recruitment agency, I led the strategy and execution of marketing transformation. My role involved building the brand from the ground up, redefining our digital presence, and implementing scalable systems for content, communication, and growth.

The goal was clear: to elevate FindIT’s visibility and credibility in a competitive market while generating consistent, high-quality inbound leads. I worked closely with the CEO, to align marketing efforts with business priorities and establish a framework for long-term growth.

Challenges

When I joined FindIT, the company was experiencing strong momentum in its recruitment operations, but its marketing lacked structure, consistency, and strategic direction.

Our brand identity was fragmented and visually inconsistent across platforms. The website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and not reflective of our expertise or value proposition. We had very limited organic traffic due to the absence of a content strategy, and our social media presence wasn’t effectively communicating what made us different.

Internally, marketing operations were reactive and slowed by bottlenecks in approval and execution. There was no centralized calendar, no clearly defined campaign process, and no real-time visibility into performance metrics. Most critically, there was no unified marketing strategy tied to business goals — which meant our efforts lacked focus and efficiency.

Strategy & Execution

I led a comprehensive strategy built around three core objectives: modernize the brand, drive consistent inbound interest, and create operational clarity. This involved initiatives across branding, web development, content marketing, social media, and internal process improvement.

BRANDING

My first step was a complete brand refresh. I conducted a competitive landscape analysis and redefined our visual identity to position FindIT as an expert, approachable, and trustworthy partner in IT recruitment.

The rebrand included a new logo, a custom brand mascot (an owl symbolizing wisdom), a cohesive color palette using vibrant greens and neutral tones, and updated typography. I created brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels, from the website and social media to pitch decks and internal materials. This new identity helped us stand out and immediately strengthened our perception among clients and candidates.

WEBSITE

I led the full redesign of the FindIT website — from wireframing and user flow mapping to content development and launch. The new site was built to be mobile-first, SEO-optimized, and conversion-focused.

Key improvements included updated messaging, intuitive navigation, clear service paths for both clients and candidates and integrated calls to action. I also added a blog section to support our content strategy. The redesign significantly improved bounce rates, page engagement, and conversions. The result was a modern, fast, and professional platform that reflected the quality of our services.

CONTENT

To build long-term inbound traffic and authority, I implemented a data-driven content strategy. I conducted SEO research to identify relevant, high-volume topics and created a content calendar covering IT hiring trends, interview tips, and career development for tech professionals.

I wrote and published blog posts optimized for search, supported by keyword-optimized metadata and internal linking. This effort dramatically improved our search engine rankings and led to a 30% increase in organic leads. Every piece of content was aligned with the candidate and client journey, helping us move beyond short-term outreach into sustainable, passive lead generation.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Alongside website content, I rebuilt our social media strategy — with a strong focus on LinkedIn, which was the most relevant platform for our audience.

I introduced a structured content calendar featuring job opportunities, industry insights, team updates, and value-based posts. I updated our company profile with new visuals, positioning statements, and CTAs, and worked with the team to encourage employee engagement and sharing.

Within months, FindIT’s LinkedIn performance exploded. Page views increased by over 2500%, and post engagement, profile clicks, and follower count all grew significantly. It became a reliable top-of-funnel channel and a key part of our brand-building efforts.

MARKETING OPERATIONS

Improving marketing operations was crucial to sustaining the impact of our new initiatives. I took a close look at FindIT’s existing marketing processes and identified several bottlenecks.

To optimize timelines and improve efficiency, I introduced a centralized marketing calendar and a simple project management workflow. This helped coordinate content creation, design, and posting more effectively across team members. Weekly check-ins and clear approval protocols were established to keep campaigns moving forward without unnecessary delays.

The marketing calendar integrated all channels — web content, social media, and email outreach — providing a clear overview of upcoming activities and deadlines. This level of organization and cross-channel coordination ensured that campaigns rolled out on schedule and maintained consistent messaging.

Additionally, by collaborating closely with the CEO during the planning phase, I made sure every marketing initiative stayed strategically aligned with the company’s growth objectives and budget constraints.

Results

The results of this transformation were tangible and business-critical:

  • Inbound Leads Up 30%: The data-driven content and SEO strategy led to a sustained 30% increase in organic inbound leads, filling FindIT’s sales funnel with more qualified prospects.

  • 9 New Clients Acquired: Enhanced brand credibility and higher lead volume contributed to the acquisition of nine new client accounts, directly boosting FindIT’s revenue.

  • LinkedIn Performance: FindIT’s LinkedIn page saw explosive growth across all key metrics, reflecting a vastly improved social media presence:

    • Page Views: +2563.2%

    • Unique Visitors: +2261.6%

    • Custom Button Clicks: +3208.3%

    • New Followers: +59.89%

    • Post Reactions: +1630.5%

  • Strengthened Brand Recognition: The cohesive new visual identity, applied consistently online and offline, earned positive client and candidate feedback. FindIT became more recognizable and trusted in the marketplace, reinforcing its reputation as a tech recruitment expert.

  • Improved Marketing Efficiency: By streamlining workflows and implementing rigorous calendar management, campaign rollout times were shortened significantly. Marketing activities are now executed in a timely, organized manner across all channels, with better alignment to company objectives.
